A carved schist figural frieze panel presenting a standing male in dhoti playing a drum, a bearded male dancing with hands cupped, a female dancing with hands raised above her head; mounted on a custom-made stand. See Jongeward, D. Buddhist Art of Gandhara in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, 2018. 13.5 kg total, 41cm with stand (16 1/4"). Property of a North London gentleman; ex private London collection, acquired 1980-1990s.
