Late 3rd millennium BC. A bronze dagger with leaf-shaped blade, two fullers to each side of median rib; slightly curved guard, finely decorated handle with high-relief pellets and geometric lines; with custom-made stand. See Khorasani, M.M. Arms and Armour from Iran. The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, Tübingen, 2006. 192 grams total, 25cm with stand (9 3/4"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired London art market, 1970-1980.
