2nd millennium BC. A carved stone idol with round-section shaft, square base with cleft to the forward edge, elliptical spur to the upper end. 1.6 kg, 39.5cm (15 1/2"). Property of a West London gentleman; his collection formed in the late 1980s-early 1990s. Accompanied by a scholarly note TL005255 from Drt Ronald Bonewitz.
